How do I delete my account?

If you have a paid subscription (PLUS/PRO) and no longer need it, you must first cancel the subscription. At the end of the contract term, all your transfers and files will be deleted and your account will be converted to a FREE account. Only then can you delete your account in File Express.

If you already have a FREE account and no longer need it, you can delete it directly in File Express.

Follow these steps for this:

  1. Log in to File Express using your e-mail address and password.
  2. Click your e-mail address at the top right.
  3. Click “My account” in the menu and then “My subscription”. 
    → You will see your subscription under “Current subscription”.
  4. Open the context menu Context menu.svg to the right of it and click “Delete account”.
  5. Confirm by clicking “Delete”.

Your account will be deleted and you will be logged out automatically.
