I’ve lost the password for my transfer

For security reasons, the passwords you set for password-protected transfers are not saved. This means if you lose the password you will have to set a new one in the settings for that transfer.

Follow these steps for this:

  1. Log in to File Express with your e-mail address and password.
  2. Click your e-mail address and then “Transfers”.
  3. Click the transfer whose password you have lost.
    → The overview will open.
  4. Go to the “Settings” tab.
  5. Click the “Password protection” setting.
  6. Enter a new password and click “Save”.

Remember that you will need to share the new password with the recipients. Otherwise, they will no longer be able to access the transfer.
