Have you created a file transfer with File Express, but your recipients have not been notified via e-mail? This problem can have various causes, both on the sender and recipient side.
Please check the following:
Sender
- After creating the transfer, did you send the link directly via File Express? If not, then no e-mail will have been sent. However, registered users can also send the link afterwards. For this, click “Transfers” in your account, select the transfer and click “Share link”.
- Check that you have entered the recipient’s e-mail address correctly. Registered users can check this in their account under “Transfers” > Select transfer > “Recipients”. You can also delete and re-add recipients.
- Try to send an e-mail directly to the recipient (using your e-mail program). If it cannot be delivered, the problem is with the recipient.
Recipient
- Check to see if the message has been delivered to your spam or junk folder by mistake.
- Make sure you are connected to the internet and check if you can receive anything with your e-mail program at all.
- Ask the sender if something may have gone wrong during sending.
- If you are on a corporate network: contact your company’s IT support. Company-wide policies may prevent an e-mail from being delivered.
