Are my files recoverable after the expiration date?

Files sent by non-registered users are automatically deleted from our servers after the expiration date. The data cannot be recovered.

Registered users, however, have the option of restoring a transfer within one day after it expires. After that, the data is also irrevocably deleted.

To restore a recently expired transfer, proceed as follows:

  1. Log in to File Express with your e-mail address and password.
  2. Click your e-mail address and then “Transfers”.
    Overview of all a user's transfers, broken down into “Sent” and “Requested”.
  3. For the desired transfer, open the context menu Context menu.svg and click “Restore transfer”.

The transfer is restored and is available for another 24 hours before it is permanently deleted.
